Paint FX : Photo Effects Editor App Reviews

So I bought Paint FX for $3.99 (and may I say I was pleasantly surprised that it is compatible with anything less than iOS 7) expecting great things. And there are many, many great things about this app! Having tried out many different photo editor apps, I must say that this is one of my favorites, just because of its uniqueness. I love that you paint the effects with your fingers, and I love the wide array of effects you can choose from. However there was a downfall. I am using iOS 6 on an iPod touch 4th gen. I think it must be a glitch in the app development, but I am unable to upload photos to the community of Paint FX, which I really, really want to be able to do! Whenever I click "upload to community" a message pops up on my screen, only not the whole message. Part of it is cut off, like it wont fit on my whole screen, and it is off center all the way to the top left corner of my screen. The only thing visible from the message is the "ok" option, which obviously isnt the option that lets me upload to the community. Because of the off-set messages, I also cant participate in contests. I really want to be able to use all of the awesome features of this app (one of the reasons being I spent $4 on it)!! So, if this gets fixed with an update, I will GLADLY give the app a five-star review! Please fix! And thank you for reading if you just read this whole review.

If the extension can keep full resolution, then its a five star app.

This app is a great tool for people who know how to use it. I have had so much help creating book covers and profile pictures. It took me a while though to get used to the app, dont quit after the first few attempts. Its was definitely worth my money, and I like doing the challenges.

Ive had this app for idk how long but I love it and I recommend it to everyone.

The zoom on this app is great, super zoom ability to get in and make minute changes. That can really change a photo from a flop edit, to something youd see in a magazine. A lot of editing apps are not this versatile. To be able to layer and erase some of an effect that you dont want and then layer again, to add in some more, is amazing. I have 6 editing apps on my phone and although I do use them all for diff things, this is by far the best and my personal favorite. I even have this on my iPad as well. (iPhone 6 user)

The description for this app indicated that the embedded web search problem had been fixed in the latest version. Well I just paid for and downloaded the latest version and I can tell you that it does not work. Very disappointed.

The best photoshop app I ever used. I make a lot of photoshops pics with this app.

This has been a wonderful app in the past but recently Im unable to retrieve images off the web while in blend mode. I used blend quite often to incorporate web images into my work, but now its basically non functioning, at least for my needs Disappointed and frustrated!

This is a MUST HAVE in your collection of photo/painting Apps for your Devices! I have 99% of the "Top of the Line" Photo/Painting Apps and this falls in the TOP 8 !! NEW FUNCTION! Photo "Blending" I just tried it out on 12 pics, and I have ALL the Blending Apps, this is Just as good if not better than the best!!!!!

Blend does not work with iPad Pro.
